Whoever persecute prophets, wages war with God himself. David said:
…he allowed no one to oppress them [prophets]; he rebuked kings on their account, saying, "Touch not my anointed ones, do my prophets no harm! – Psalms 105:14-15
And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy – Acts 2:17-18
The above Scripture clearly says that God will send prophets to us in the last days. Do you think the last days that apostle Paul was talking about are still far away? No, the last days are now. You should not neglect the gift of prophecy that God has given to some people among you. You must let prophets speak publicly without hindrance and oppression:
So, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. But all things should be done decently and in order. – 1 Corinthians 14:39
In this Scripture, it says that you must earnestly desire to prophesy. Why do you persecute prophets whom God inspired to teach you then? God inspired prophets to guide you, not to harm you. Very few prophets are bold enough to talk openly despite strong opposition from the Antichrist: church leaders, pastors and priests. More often, prophets do not speak up for the fear of them.
Why leaders of your organizations do not recognize prophets when God clearly says that He will send prophets to you? They erroneously assumed that God speaks through them alone. Jesus Christ already warned you about such people:
”Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering”. – Luke 11:52
“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in. – Matthew 23:13
Do not be surprised that leaders of your organization are false prophets themselves who don't allow prophets of God to speak publicly. Being arrogant and prideful, they convince you that Lord speaks through them alone but they are wrong. Church leaders will receive their reward in full.
You must let two or three believers come in front when you gather together and let them prophesy. Those believers who come with their revelations are the prophets. This is the order of speaking in the church:
Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said. If a revelation is made to another sitting there, let the first be silent. For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all be encouraged, and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets. – 1 Corinthians 14:29-32
You must let women prophesy
God has poured a Holy Spirit on both men and women to prophesy:
And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams… – Acts 2:17
If a woman has a revelation, you must allow her to speak up publicly. Do not deny women to prophesy. To prophesy means to teach when ones are inspired by God. You must not neglect the prophecies and revelations:
What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up. If any speak in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn, and let someone interpret. – 1 Corinthians 14:26
Prophets among you who do not expose your iniquities
You have people among you who have outstanding knowledge and understanding but they fear to deliver a word of God publicly. These prophets among you do not accomplish their task of warning people about the widespread false teachings:
Your prophets have seen for you false and deceptive visions; they have not exposed your iniquity to restore your fortunes, but have seen for you oracles that are false and misleading. – Lamentations 2:14
If you have a revelation, you must speak up publicly without fear, for God will protect you. Even if the Antichrist persecutes you, remember that you will receive your rewards in heaven:
Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. – Matthew 5:11-12
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. – Matthew 10:28
let him [prophet] give his cheek to the one who strikes, and let him be filled with insults. – Lamentations 3:30
If you teach people, perhaps they will listen to you and repent from their sins and false practices. If no one will teach them, how will they know the truth? There are always a small number of people who belong to God. If some do not listen to you, teach others who do listen. If God gave you the knowledge, then you must speak up because to whom much was given, of him much will be required:
Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more. – Luke 12:48
The prophets prefer to discuss the matter with church leaders, pastors and priests privately, behind closed doors away from
