We are one of the first projects of this kind in Russia. The project operation scheme is simple: people donate items to the «Closet» that they don’t need for whatever reason, but which are in good condition. About 15–20 % of the items donated stay in the store and are sold at minimal prices, and then the net profit from the sales is spent on charity. The remaining 80 % of items are sent to the «Cradle» Help Center, where they are distributed at no cost to the people in need. "The Closet" works with craftsmen from all over Russia, selling their handmade products, as well as establishing a creative platform for workshops on the basis of the store. The project team is also involved in the social life of the city, we often participate in municipal events and even organize our own. Over its existence, "The Closet" has become for the citizens not only a store, but a relaxing place for their souls.
