The foundation has grown from the same-name network of charity shops. Now the foundation implements three ambitious charitable programmes. Our mission is to help people who have fallen on hard times. Thousands of people across Russia need little support — some people do not have decent clothes, some cannot buy windows for their fire-damaged house. And some people live in a nursing home for the elderly and dream of a simple cosy blanket. In other words, the programmes of our foundation are focused on the resource support for people in difficult circumstances. We help victims of the fire, large and low-income families. Apart from this, we created an environment for socialization of elderly people and persons under care of social institutions.

PROBLEM TO BE ADDRESSED
Helping the victims of fires, helping people living below the poverty line, helping multi-child families, supporting charities, and socializing the senior generation.
SOLUTIONS USED
Fun Store foundation helps fire victims to recover their affected homes. To do this, we solicit for contributions in our charity shops where one can buy things for charitable donations. Apart from this, we arrange door-to-door contributions for families on our web-site lavkafond.ru. For fire victims, as well as for large and low income families, we arranged a system of humanitarian aid — door-to-door dispatch of necessary seasonal clothing, as well as shipments with all things necessary for school and with New Year's gifts for the whole family.
In the framework of settling the socialization challenge for elderly citizens, we arrange stitchcraft master classes for elderly people and people which are under care of social institutions. In addition to art therapy courses at master classes, elderly people make things which we then hand over to those in need of help. Hand-made articles are sent to prematurely born infants, elderly people, homeless people. Thanks to this, participants of master classes feel that they are needed and help themselves. In the framework of settling the problem of help to charitable organizations, we send large shipments with humanitarian aid. Apart from this, our foundation implemented a project of monetary grant help to projects of nonprofit organizations in 2019–2020.
